U-GO Rental · Professional Management of Tourist Properties
In compliance with Law 1581 of 2012, which establishes provisions for the protection of personal data, and its regulatory standards, U-GO S.A.S. (hereinafter, U-GO), acting as the data controller, hereby informs the general guidelines under which it collects, stores, uses, and manages the personal data of its guests, property owners, suppliers, and other data subjects.

U-GO S.A.S., identified with Tax ID No. 901.583.811-6, with its principal place of business at Avenida 19 No. 105-52, Bogotá, D.C., Colombia, and website www.u-go.com.co.
This policy applies to any personal data record collected either in person and/or virtually in connection with any of U-GO’s services. The data subject registers or provides their information freely and voluntarily, authorizing U-GO to process their personal data and acknowledging that they have read and expressly accepted this policy.
2. Authorization for personal data processing
Through this authorization, U-GO, in compliance with Law 1581 of 2012, seeks to ensure the effective protection of the constitutional right to personal privacy by establishing appropriate instruments and controls for the proper processing of the information under its administration.
This document establishes the terms, conditions, and purposes under which U-GO, as the controller of personal data obtained through its various in-person and virtual service channels, processes the information of all individuals who, due to the activities carried out by the company, have provided personal data. The data subject registers or provides their information freely and voluntarily and acknowledges that they have read and expressly accepted this policy.
3. Purposes of personal data processing
The personal data requested by U-GO shall be used for the following purposes:
To manage bookings, accommodation services, check-in and check-out processes, and Guest assistance at the properties managed by U-GO.
To comply with applicable legal and tourism-related obligations, including the completion of the Accommodation Registration Card and reports to the competent authorities.
To manage relationships with property owners, suppliers, and business partners, including invoicing, payments, and reporting.
To maintain efficient communication with the data subject through any contact channel regarding services, promotions, events, advertising campaigns, email marketing campaigns, benefits, applicable terms or policies, customer service channels, and/or social media.
To provide information about changes to existing services or new services related to those contracted or acquired.
To evaluate the quality of the services provided.
To prepare and report statistical information, satisfaction surveys, studies, and market analyses, including the possibility of contacting the data subject for such purposes.
To identify, collect, and associate data related to the data subject’s browsing preferences on U-GO’s website, as well as geolocation and/or location data generated by mobile devices, in order to improve the user experience, understand browsing profiles, and provide targeted information and/or advertising regarding U-GO’s own services or those of third parties.
To transmit or transfer such data to third parties acting as data processors or participating in U-GO’s operational processes, provided they are located within Colombia.
4. Rights of personal data subjects
The data subject is hereby informed of the rights granted under personal data protection laws, which U-GO guarantees through the procedures established for such purposes:
To know, update, and rectify their personal data before U-GO, acting as the data controller.
To request proof of the authorization granted to U-GO, acting as the data controller.
To be informed by U-GO, upon request, about the use made of their personal data.
To file complaints before the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce for violations of Law 1581 of 2012 and any regulations that amend, supplement, or complement it, once the consultation or complaint procedure before the data controller has been exhausted.
To revoke authorization and/or request the deletion of personal data when the processing fails to respect constitutional and legal principles, rights, and guarantees.
To access, free of charge, the personal data that has been subject to processing.

5. Information security
U-GO is committed to the proper use and processing of the personal data contained in its databases and to preventing unauthorized access by third parties who may view, compromise, modify, disclose, and/or destroy the information stored therein. For this purpose, U-GO has implemented security and access protocols for its information systems, storage, and processing environments, including physical measures for controlling security risks.
Access to the different databases is granted only to the areas of the company that require the use of personal data. In addition, all employees are required to maintain confidentiality and properly handle the databases in accordance with the information processing guidelines established by law.
6. Validity
This policy shall take effect upon publication and shall remain in force for as long as U-GO carries out its corporate purpose.
